Everything else question. A friend is staying in my condo for a month or maybe two, so checking that's within the 'law' someone mentioned, on short term stays (or should I ask the office). 🤷

Hello, does anyone know if when I apply for my DTV I can apply for both mine and those of my dependents (wife and children) together in the same process, or would I have to apply for mine first and once approved I could apply for my dependents' visas?

I just heard about this 90 day report thing. I stayed longer than 90 days last year before going overseas and no one said anything at immigration on either departure or return. I'm now coming up to another 90 days in Thailand and still, aside from foreigners on facebook, i haven't been asked or told i need to do it. Is it actually necessary on DTV?

Prior to reading this forum I'd never heard of it, it was never mentioned by the embassy when I applied for the DTV or first arrived in the country, and immigration don't seem to care either.

What am I missing? It feels like it's only enforced by people online, not Thai immigration 🤣

Hi everyone,

After my father’s passing, my 56-year-old mother wants to move to Thailand to be closer to me. I’m currently living in Thailand on a DTV visa, but she doesn’t have the 800,000 baht required for the retirement visa. Our French embassy still issues income declarations, but they’re solely based on honor without any verification.

If she comes to Thailand without a visa, can we use the French embassy’s income declaration for her initial O visa application? By the end of the first year, she will have the 12 monthly payments of 65,000 baht required for renewal.

Thank you in advance for your advice!

Hi, I am coming, again, to Thailand but thus time going directly to my wife's home. Does she need to report me to immigration? We will be in Thailand for 2 weeks, having a week in Koh Kood also. TIA

Good morning 🙏🏼 I’m looking at extending my oa visa for another year but the health insurance premium has increased by more than 50% as I turned 66 this year. Can you please advise on the minimum cover required by immigration?

Hello everyone. 🙂

I flew in and received a 60 day visa exempt on UK passport.

I want to extend for another 30 days, making total 90 days.

Can this be done from your first day of arrival onwards or does it have to be towards the end of the 60 day visa exempt to get the full additional 30 days extension?

Also am I best to extend in Patong office or when I go to Koh phangan? Is there one thats quicker and more efficient you would choose?

Thanks so much in advance for any advice or input. 🙏🏼😊

Does anybody have any information regarding whether you can apply for the DTV visa (soft work: yoga course) and switch to remote working further on down the line & once the course has finished?
