If someone applies for the DTV using a soft power category and recieves the visa, and decides (for whatever reason) NOT to do soft power activity, so you feel they can to be refunded the course fee that they paid?

We are currently in Thailand on a visa-exempt entry, but since arriving have received our DTV visas. If we go to Laos to re-enter using those visas, do we need to stay the two nights required by a border bounce? Or should we be able to reenter immediately since we have a valid visa. Thanks for any help you can offer!

I am currently in Thailand on an ED Visa. It expires Sept 26th. I am looking to go back home to Australia for a couple of weeks and wanted to apply for the DTV while I was out of the country.

Do I need to let the current ED Visa expire, or can I apply for the DTV and if approved it will cancel the current Visa? It will only be a month's difference if I let the current Visa expire but I thought I'd check to see if I need to wait.

Hey all, looking to speak with hopeful DTV holders. You must be a legit professional and eligible to become a digital nomad. Want to know why you want to come to temporarily live in Thailand? Is it the cost of living? Internet speed? Something else?

Reach out to me as Iโ€™ll be writing a report about this week.

Hello Group, I am seeking anyone with experience or knowledge regarding changing visa status. Is there a required length of time that one must live in Thailand on any type of long-term visa before changing to a different visa after said visa expires? I am currently living in Bangkok via a Non-Immigrant O-A (Retirement) Visa. Earlier this year, I married my Thai Girlfriend (we had been dating for a little over 5 years) and I am considering changing my visa status to Non-Immigrant O (Marriage) Visa. It should be noted that my current visa will expire later this year, so I am researching my options before that time arrives. I have reached out to my local Immigrations Office, where I have spoken to 2 different officers whereas one officer didn't understand my question and transferred me to another officer who advised that I have to renew my current retirement visa at least once before I can change it to a marriage visa. So my understanding is I cannot change my visa status until I approach my second year of living in Thailand on my current visa.

Thanks in advance for alls answers provided regarding my question.

Question regarding 90-day report. My husband is on a Non-B visa extension and he's done his first report in person at Chaeng Wattana back on March 11. We did an online report last week on June 6 (2 days in advance of the June 8th due date) and saw that it was rejected just this morning. TM30 is up to date and there's not really a reason stated on why the report was rejected. The only reason we could think of is maybe the "Arrival Date Thailand" on the TM47 application. He entered on a visa-exempt tourist stamp August 8, 2023, which was then extended to October 6, 2023. Afterwards, his company applied for Non-B inside Bangkok which was granted til December 9, 2023, which they then extended until December 3, 2024. So ever since arriving back to Thailand on August 8 last year, he hasn't been out of the country. Could this arrival date be the reason why the 90-day report is being rejected? Should we be inputting the last date of when he did his 90-day report instead in the "Arrival Date Thailand" portion? Thanks.
