can’t say for sure. Probably best to pop in to your local immigration office to check. Every office has slightly different rules/requirements so if I tell what one office allows it will have absolutely no bearing on what your office allows.

Nope. To get a work permit you need a job. To get the Non B visa that allows you to get a work permit (assuming you’re not married to a Thai or have Thai kids) you need a job or offer of one.

Conflicting information all over the web about this as it entirely depends on your nationality as to whether you can use an affidavit of income (issued by your embassy) or have to use banked money or monthly transfers.

The UK embassy won’t issue that affidavit so you’re stuck with the banked money option.

For the initial Non O visa (90 days) and the first year extension from that your only option is 800k in a Thai bank. Some offices will want to see that it was an international transfer for the initial Non O (if applying in country).

For the second year you could switch to the 12x monthly international transfer of 65k or more per month method. Works for some but can be a real PITA for others if they use a service like Wise to send money over.

Not an expert on Thai marriages outside of Thailand but I believe it’s a PITA. You have to get your marriage certified via some place in Milton Keynes and they then send it off to the Thai embassy for ratification. This link may help a bit.

I’m sure others on here will be able to help you with specifics.

I’m not sure how to answer. There is no other option to pay other than via card (unless using the Laos or Myanmar consulates). Find a card that works or you’re stuck.

You can at an international airport. Allow around 20 minutes - but that’s will solely depend on how many people are in the queue in front of you to do so.

Some airports will not issue a multiple re-entry permit so you may be limited to a single one.

Most would do a border bounce to get the almost 15 months out of a year multiple entry but that’s your call to make.

If your bank account allows you an immediate withdrawal of the funds - albeit with a loss of interest if you were to do so then it would normally be accepted. If it’s a fixed term deposit where if you can’t access the funds “today” then it wouldn’t be.

Be aware that this is the last year long multiple entry visa you’re going to get as that option has disappeared since all Thai consulates and embassies have switched over to the evisa system, so your only option going forward will be a single entry and year extension (provided you have the aforementioned acceptable account).

Documents that allow you to enter or stay in Britain are irrelevant for Thailand. Your passport country determines what your entry status to Thailand would be. Without knowing that we can’t advise.

They’ve all changed to the evisa system which means you don’t go to the consulate to get the visa (although for Savannakhet you do go to pay). Multiple entry Non O is no longer an option.
