Coming from the uk with a British passport how long do I get visiting thailand?

I've seen some people say 30 days and some say 60 and then you can extent your visa by another 30 days while there, but unsure if i get 30 or 60 days upon entry?

Hello! I am getting conflicting information about reentering Thailand and was wondering if anyone could help.

I entered Thailand from Cambodia on 15th September 2024 by car to fly from Bangkok to Indonesia.

I entered again from Malaysia by car 29th October 2024 to travel the North of Thailand for 11 days.

I am in Laos now and would like to go to the south of Thailand for around three weeks. Will I need a visa for this if I’d like to stay for that long? Online it says different things; that I’d have to fly instead of enter by car, or apply for a tourist visa, or simply that when I arrive I have 60 days.

Any help appreciated.

Thank you!

Is DTV available up to 5 years depending on our work contract with external company and how much assets? Or depends just on the officer’s mood? 🌈

Hey guys im trying to apply for DTV and they ask me when i plan to arrive and leave. I wanna stay (obviously) for long term like 2-3 years at least. But i will leave Thailand for a short trip to Japan after 5 days after arriving to thailand. but after that i will return and stay there. What would be the smartest answer? Just say 5 days? i fiear that they might gimme just a normal tourist visa because its "enough" for the period of time. should i just say 4 Months? to make it look like im more in need of DTV than a TV? maybe some people who successfully applied to DTV and got approved and have similar situations can tell me :)

I got my DTV but I'm not sure how it works when I exist Thailand during the 180 days.

First, do I need to do anything when leaving during the 180 days? Or is it the same normal process as in all other visas?

Second, when I come back during the 5 years visa, do I get another 180 days or do I continue from the last day counting that I had before leaving? So for example if I leave after 80 days and come back, do I get a new 180 days or just 100 days (to continue the count I had before leaving)?

I have two questions… (1) I just received my Evisa from the Los Angeles consulate. Last year when I received my non O married to a Thai it said length of stay was 99 days. This year there is no length of stay on the Evisa.

(2) last year we never reported that I was staying at her house, is this really a requirement, and if so…how can she do it?

Thanks.

For all people entering with a DTV: double check the IO stamps the correct dates!

I just realized my DTV was stamped in for only 5 months instead of 180 days 🤦‍♂️

I entered via land border and i’m now very far away from there. TBH i’m not even planning to stay the full 5 months.

Should i even try to get it fixed at the nearest immigration office?

In fact, my calculation says it’s only 149 days. This already includes the start and end dates.

Start date: October 7, 2024

End date: March 4, 2025
