Most posts seem to indicate that there generally isn’t any issues entering. There have been a couple of posts where people have been questioned but eventually let through.

I guess it’s like many entry issues. If the IO is having a bad hair day you may have issues.

Look for an IO that isn’t and you should be fine.

Didn’t read the question fully. I thought you were meaning a year extension.
Stuart *********
May depend on the office you’re trying that at though. Go and ask if possible.
Stuart *********
You can apply for a visit family extension for 60 days off of the Non O.
Stuart *********
No. The first extension off a Non O has to be for the same reason you got the Non O.

After the year extension you can change the reason for your next extension from marriage to a
***
Thai child.
Stuart *********
No. Almost certainly you can’t get without the help of an agent.

Not quite sure what you’re asking here. If you have a Non O visa (rather than a Non OA) it’s not multiple entry. It’s a single entry visa.

On entry you’d get a stamp for 90 days (actually 89 further days as day 1 is your entry day).

Official website is here. It’s free.

Other sites charge up to $120.

@Tom *******
You can’t convert from a OA to an O in Thailand. You would have to let the OA lapse and leave to re-enter visa exempt or buy a tourist visa to convert to O or buy a O prior to arrival.

Your Dad having funds won’t work for your application. You need your own funds to apply.

If you have a spouse or kids then you can provide a sponsorship letter for their application.
