This pertains to Ubon Ratchanthani, just did my 1 year extension for Thai child and there have been a couple changes in the process. My wife had to fill out an affidavit, we had to get a friend or a relative to give a copy of their ID card and house book. Plus they were very specific about the photos, bedroom, kitchen, TV room, by front door of house, next to house number and a complete view of front of house. We had to retake the house number photo so it was straight on( could not be at an angle) and they wanted a wider view of front of house.

Can anyone tell me what one is supposed to put under 'employment details' when doing the application for a child aged 5? Do I put my employment details as her mother or do I choose 'unemployed' and 'no income'?

Has anyone been successful getting a DTV visa with a previous overstay on there file/ application n passport?

My children have 30 day overstay because there is no fine or re-entry restrictions for under 15years old. But im wanting to apply for dependent DTV visa for them but not sure if the previous overstay will affect this. Australia Embassy

Just landed at Suvarmabhumi after getting the DTV approval on Wednesday. Super easy. Just said I have DTV, showed her on my phone and she stamped me in till Nov 4. My child was with me, no DTV she asked if he was visa exempt and how long they would be staying I said 2 months. She said I should get the DTV for them too so it’s easier when they come and go. In hindsight I was going to do it in Hanoi but said we would next time we leave. Since Bangkok is really a base and we will be in and out every 2 months or so anyway. But it seems they definitely are mentioning getting visas over doing visa (exempt)runs.

We were here 90 days then left late Aprill for China and Vietnam. Before that 2022 and 2023 90 days with one bounce

Lots of people had to leave the line because they didn’t do the TDAC even though there are signs everywhere. She didn’t ask to see it just if we did. I said yes and that was it.

I am currently stationed in Japan.( time in 7 years ) I have a husband and an infant and looking into/planning to move to Thailand for at least a couple of years + after my tour. However, they ask for spouse/child to have bank account and money in it and proof of location. Is this just wording suited to the adult application or do I need these things for child? What would I use as proof of location? In the UK. Thank you.

I was approved for dtv. It was much faster than anticipated. Just wondering if I have to get a visa for my 3 year old. I’m 99% sure that as long as I have a valid dtv; he can stay in Thailand.

I’ve heard that once an individual qualifies for the DTV, they can include their spouse and child in the process. Is this correct? If not, could someone clarify the steps or requirements for sponsoring family members under the DTV?
