I am on a non-o visa based on marriage, the three months will expire soon and I hope to extend it by two months. I was wondering if it's possible to extend it using my daughter instead of my wife and say on the form reason for staying is being around daughter? And before you say "oh why don't you just bring your wife along and get it done with her" it's not that simple and getting it done with my daughter is much more convenient.

TLDR : Answer Summary
It is not possible to extend a Non-O visa (based on marriage) for a different reason such as being with your daughter. The first extension must align with the original reason for the visa. However, after the initial extension, you can apply for an extension based on having a Thai child. You may also consider applying for a separate 60-day "Visit Family" extension, but your daughter must be present with you during the application.

The title of the 60 day extension is "Visit Thai Family" so as long as you are legally recognised as the father yes you can but she must be with you when you apply
