I am married to a Thai man, I want to go to join him for 4months , but the criteria for o/a visa is difficult. I would be better off with tourist visa and extend for month! So 3 months. We have been married for more than 30years and it’s got more difficult.

Hello, regarding the Non-O Thai Family… the consulate webpage says:

……This allows the visa holder to enter Thailand with a maximum stay of 90 days.

Does it mean that I will be able to extend this visa for another 1 month by means of border run or the exempt visa stamp at Immi?

Thks

I am going to stay 180 days for winter every year. I am a US citizen married to a Thai wife with Thai and US citizenship. We’re both over 65 and own a home in Ratchaburi.

What is my best visa option?

I already have B400k in a Thai bank account since 2022.

Hello, is it possible to get a 45-day extension of a visa exemption, or is it always only 30 days? The immigration office of application could be Krabi, Trang, Phuket or Bangkok.

Hello

I have a question about extending my non-immigrant visa.

I have a 90-day visa to visit family, can I extend it by 60 days at the Buriram immigration office, for example?

I am now with my wife visiting family in Satuek and we would like to stay longer in Thailand.

I heard somewhere if you are married to a Thai woman that you could extend 60 days to 150 days once, if that is possible, which documents should I show/submit?

I hope I get the answers here that I haven't been able to find anywhere .

Hi,

i arrived on a 3 Month Non Immigration Visa based on having two Thai Kids. The plan was to extend this visa to the 12 month non immi Family visa. To get the visa we needed to share the custody for the kids in thai law, this process needed longer than expected and isn´t finish yet. My Visa got extended in the Immigration already for 60 days. But the time could still be not enough so I maybe have to leave Thailand in October. Is it possible to leave for a few days, come back with the 30 days entry stamp and change from this stamp to the 12 Months Family Visa? All requirements and documents are met just the shared custody paper is missing but will coming soon.

Thanks

Morning, quick question…I’m flying to Thailand next Tuesday with my Thai wife and our stay is for 29 days. So I know I don’t require a visa. But..we might decide to extend a bit longer when we’re there & change flight home. My question is, can I sort this out in Bangkok/Samut Prakan or do I need to get my visa from Thai Embassy UK in advance? Thanks!
