In the UK they sell that single entry visa for £60 (2,600 baht approx). Depending on the office they would get an extension at you could be in and out in 30 minutes or so.

@Luke ******
Yes you can extend in Samui. However they like Jomtien and Koh Phangan require you to have 7 days or less on your current stamp to apply.

UK passport holders get 60 days visa exempt on entry. You can extend that one time for a further 30 days at a local immigration office for 1,900 baht.

I am waiting on a confirmation from immigration to be certain. The person in the video link is from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, so isn’t involved in immigration policy making.

Depends if they extend in country then they would need to do so. If they bounce for another entry then no.

Rob Schueps Wow. You’re obviously an arrogant prick.

When someone answers you most people would be grateful. Tod’s advice as always was relevant to your question.

I’m not a UK applicant, so my answer may not suit your entitled needs, but why would any embassy or consulate accept funds from a Wise business account. It’s YOU that’s applying for the visa. The fact that your business interest may have millions of dollars in it is irrelevant. They want to see what funds YOU have.

Showing a current balance of a business account is irrelevant to the consulate. They have no idea if the company is solvent or not. The funds in that account aren’t yours - even if you are the sole owner - until you take them out.

Thailand is a big country. Your question is sort of like asking if it rains in the US every day (not to scale, but you get the reference).

Different areas of Thailand usually have recurring weather patterns. For some areas August may be a relatively dry month. For others relatively wet.

Most times it doesn’t rain all the time, every day, but it can if there is a weather system happening somewhere in SE Asia.

1. Officially yes, you need to have a TM30 filed for you. Generally it’s the responsibility of the hotel or landlord to do this. Unofficially if you have no need with immigration during your stay then no one’s going to bother if you have filed or not.

2. You need to file a 90 day report when you’ve been in Thailand 90 days. There is an online website but your first report from entering Thailand (each time) will need to be done in person at your local immigration office.

See answer 2. There is no charge for a 90 day report but if you fail to do so in time the cost is 2,000 baht.

Absolutely not worth applying for it in NZ. It’ll cost you $2,000. Use a nearby to Thailand consulate where it will cost you about $500.

Generally your 1st 90 day report you have to do in person. After that you should be fine to file online.

Online you can report up to 15 days prior until the due date. The 7 day grace period only applies if you file in person.
