We are going to Koh Lipe from Langkawi in December, can we get the new 60 day stamp on arrival as we intend to Island hop from tjere. We went a couple of years ago but could only get the 15 day visa.

Can I enter thailand with a single flight ticket, with a UK passport?

My wife and I have been lucky enough to visit Thailand 3 times already this year, January,April and July and it is our intention to come back out December tenth, we are UK passport holders will we have any problems gaining entry to Thailand ?

New to the group but have one question which you’ve probably had a million times so I apologise for that in advance!!

We are going to Thailand for just short of 90 days (early next year) what would be the recommended way to get a 90 day stay? If it’s a visa which one? leaving from the UK.

My partner and I are planning to enter Thailand using the 60 day visa exemption (uk). Do we need to prove anything to get to be granted that?

I’m aware that we will need to show onward travel and we are planning to use one of the ticket generator websites for that as we are unsure when (obviously within the 60/90days) we are going to do that. Do we need to provide anything else, and if so which documents will we need?

This may be dumb question. By 60 days x 2 in each calender year do they mean 12 months from when ever you enter or do they mean per actual year 2024/2025/2026?

Hopefully a quick question, we have changed our plans whilst out in SE Asia and have decided to extend our stay.

We are from the UK have already consumed our first 30 day visa exemption (landed in Bangkok and travelled north for 12 days before entering Laos in May) I realise we have a second 30 day exemption an intend to revisit Bangkok by air and travel South Thailand (Islands) after leaving Cambodia.

Is there a way I can extend the stay of the second exemption further, just for 5-10 days, to allow the second visit to be up to 40 days?

Hello! I’ve just returned home to UK after a 34 day stay in Thailand using a 60 day tourist visa. I stupidly got a single entry visa so can’t go back on it. Is there a limit on how often you can have a tourist visa? I’m currently on a sabbatical and would like to go back ASAP.

Is there a maximum amount of times you can extend in a 6 month period or a year period? I came in on a UK passport in January and then extended for 30 days and left in March. I will be again coming to Thailand for around 70 days and just wondering the best way of doing this? At the moment I’m thinking staying roughly 25 days then fly to somewhere else (possibly Hanoi) and then come back with a 30 day visa exemption and extend it? I won’t be able to do a visa before I arrive but is it possible to do it whilst I’m there and avoid the need to travel outside the country?

Not visa related, and specifically about UK passport holders. The UK government have communicated that IDP's will no longer be issued by the Post Office from April 1st. This service will move to certain Pay Point stores. The list of stores will be published on April. 1st.[members only].
