Depends on what you’d qualify for. If you’re over 50, married to a Thai, get a job, etc.

Unfortunately because you’re from Bangladesh you can’t extend your single entry tourist visa.

To stay longer you’d need to convert to another eligible visa type or leave and re enter with another tourist visa.

If you’re from India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Iran, Nepal, Togo, Nigeria or Uganda you cannot get an extension off a single entry tourist visa. I have no idea why. Indian nationals who come in visa exempt can get an extension. Go figure.

There are countries that won’t allow you to visit them if you have a stamp in your passport for another country (like Israel and Egypt) but they are few and far between.

Not sure why you’d think you can’t have a visa for one country and then another visa for another country.

There may be some that say you can’t have a visa for X country and then apply for one here but it would be very strange.

Ah. So you didn’t get the METV at a consulate that is not your home country. Like every other human on the planet. You say that they said you could but you didn’t. Enough said.

We advise people on facts, not hearsay.

Not since July 15th. No technical limit on border crossings per year now. [edit] it’s at the sole discretion of the immigration officer.

A tourist visa is valid for 90 days from issue. You can use it to enter Thailand at anytime prior to that date.

On entry you will get stamped in for 60 days regardless of whether you enter on day one or day 90 of the visa validity.
