Hey,

I have some confusion regarding the Visa exempetion.

I read that after the initial 60 days, I would be able to extend by another 30.

Anybody has done this with a visa exemption entry and can describe to me the process / documents required because i’m reading mixed things online.

TLDR : Answer Summary
This post discusses the process of extending a Visa Exemption in Thailand after the initial 60 days. The common procedure involves visiting your local immigration office, where you will need to submit specific documents, which may vary by location. Travelers typically need to present their passport and pay a fee (around 1900 THB). Overall, many users note that the process is straightforward and has been completed successfully by numerous tourists.

It's one of the most common procedures done by thousands of tourists every day. Don't let it stress you out. It is extremely simple and routine. But read the guidelines already posted so you bring the proper documents with you.

If you’re from India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Iran, Nepal, Togo, Nigeria or Uganda you cannot get an extension off a single entry tourist visa. I have no idea why. Indian nationals who come in visa exempt can get an extension. Go figure.
