I'm a UK citizen arrived in Thailand on 30 day VOA. Is it possible to extend this visa at my local immigration office for another 30 days?

WANT TO CONFIRM

Expat living in Thailand. When returning from abroad, filling out my address on the arrival/departure card is not sufficient to report your return, correct?

If correct, TM30 required from house-master/owner/possessor of home within 24 hours of arrival as well?

What if I want to spend a couple nights in Bangkok before returning to upcountry? The hotel or owner of friend’s home reports me? Then my house-master/owner/possessor reports me again when I arrive home?

I live 100km from an immigration office. TM30 can be done @ local police station, right? Even if our local BIB have no idea what to do with it and won’t do the receipt at the bottom of the form, right?

Last question: Ever been between a rock and a hard place?
