Does anyone know if I can extend my Thai visa exemption (60 days) in the Trang immigration office?

I don't really want to go up to BKK.

If I can, what do I need for this, and how far in advance can I extend it? thanks

hello, I am on a METV. The first 60 day date to leave the country is stamped 4 november in my french passport. Due to illness, I could not leave the country today on a planned trip. I am quite ill in bed and would like to delay this trip to immigration as long as I can. Can I ask for an extension at Bangkok immigration on Monday 4 november, which is the same date stamped in my passport. thank you

Might be of interest to some:

I downloaded TM7 form from Immigration website and filled in at home to save a bit of time. The form has changed so I had to fill in 2 new ones there. You would have thought the immigration website would be up to date 🤔

They also asked if the money, I bring it over monthly, was from a pension. I said yes and she asked for proof which I didn't have. As this is my 5 th renewal she let it go but said it is a new requirement to show where the money is generated from. My guess would be it's to do with this tax thing that's apparently coming in🤔

I am going back to Immigration on later this month to get my 1 year extension of stay.

So I am in the "Under Consideration" stage of it all.

But before this I have been requested to be a travel-buddy for someone who has never flown before before I get my stamp.

It would be a 1-2 day thing and I would be back in good time before I am supposed to go to Immigration to get my finalized stamp.

Would this be a problem?

I entered Thailand last week on a Non O 90-day visa which I obtained while in Canada. After successfully opening a bank account, I am debating whether to extend my current VISA or leave Bangkok, forego my current VISA and apply for a DTV Visa. Reason - I want to avoid the hassle of the 90-day reporting. I am thinking of going through the medical route - full medical check up. Has anyone been successful applying through this category? I plan to lodge my application in Manila or Taipei. Since I am already in Bangkok, I plan to visit one of the hospitals here and make an inquiry and request an official letter for the medical check up.

Quick question, would appreciate any help! I’m a uk passport holder and currently in Thailand on first visa, it runs out on 15th and my plan was to do extension, if I go to immigration office Tomorow will the extension add another 30 days from the 15th, or from tomorows date? 🙏 Thankyou

I have a Non-Immigrant 0 visa from the Thai office in Vancouver, BC. It is valid from September 23 to December 21, 2024.

IF I can't travel to Thailand by December 21, ( I am in the process of selling my house in Vancouver) will I be able to extend the visa or do I have to start over again?

Also will someone please recommend a reasonable agent to help me with this visa. I used a legal firm to apply the visa and it was 16,490 baht. To continue with the opening of bank account and visa run they want another 25,680 baht. I think that is too much from what I have read.
