Yes until you are on the next one year extension, you still need to meet the requirements for the extension you are now on... which means you must keep the 800,000 for the FIRST 3 months, 400,000 or more the NEXT 7 months and 800,000 during the FINAL 2 months. THEN you can go to the Thai Immigration office and apply for the one year extension using proof of your transfer of 65,000 or more monthly for 12 months.

Thank You for your helpful report 👍

Congratulations 👏👏👏

PRINT OUT THE EMAIL THAT HAS YOUR DTV VISA.

That's what you should do... print it out.

You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.

Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.

simply stay in the country where you applied for the DTV visa until it's approved or not by the Thai Embassy or Consulate.

You will be fine...go to Jomtien immigration office... they will allow you to get your extension 45 days in advance... even 60 days with explanation. I've done it before with 60.

you're wrong. You're to stay in the country where you make an application for the DTV visa until the decision is known. But do as you want. Enough said!

Anonymous participant 880 but if they request copies of every page in your passport, you're done. Denied visa.

There's NO in person contact with the Thai Embassy in Washington DC, unless they request it. Which is unlikely to happen.

Be patient, you should learn of their decision before your planned flight ✈️.
