TLDR : Answer Summary
The average processing time for a DTV Visa at the Thai Embassy in Washington DC appears to be around 11 to 15 business days, with members sharing experiences of receiving approvals ranging from 11 to 15 days. Many users expressed confidence that the applicant will receive an update before their flight on August 1st, as past experiences suggest that approvals generally do not require additional documentation.

I applied June 24th and still on pending document check. How long was everybody on pending document check before going to pending approval?

I applied to the DC consulate office June 12th and got approval on July 1st without a request for additional information. The approval took exactly 11 business days not including the holiday and weekends. HTH

I was approved from the DC embassy recently. Mine took just under 3 weeks. Yours is at 13 business days today. If there were any Thai holidays, it’s less than 13 days. You are probably getting close. Hang in there.

Mine took almost exactly 15 days to hear back about 3 weeks ago.

Then request for more docs took 48 hours.

I suspect you'll hear back pretty soon.

There's NO in person contact with the Thai Embassy in Washington DC, unless they request it. Which is unlikely to happen.

Be patient, you should learn of their decision before your planned flight ✈️.

USA approvals can take 4 weeks. You will most likely hear in good time for your Aug flight.
