The immigration officer didn’t even look at the TDAC or the DTV printout. She didn't even take it from my hands..just the passport.

She simply asked, “What’s your purpose of visit?”

I replied, “Workcation,” and showed her my visa.

Then she signaled someone to close the counter gates and made a phone call. I ended up waiting for about 15 minutes.

During that time, she just kept staring at her screen and eventually asked, “How long will you stay?”

I said, “A month.”

Later, one of her colleagues arrived, and they had a quick exchange. All I could catch was “dai, dai” - which I assume meant “okay” or “can.”

Then the colleague turned to me and asked, “Mister, what work do you do?”

I told her I run a company back home and manage it remotely.

That was it. They stamped me in.

Still, the whole experience felt a bit tense and nerve-wracking.

Can I put 2 sources of income stream on application? I work remotely for a UK based company for 3 years now, but the contract only states zero hr contract and casual worker. I also work on an online teaching site as a freelancer, don't really earn anything but does show I have some income. I was wondering if I could, or should show both. I have payslips for the zero hr contract work, and a profile and earnings spreadsheet generated by online platform job.

I just did my 1st 90 day report online. Hearing that I might need to go in person 1st time, that's fine.

My question is there was no payment option which had me shocked.

Just enterd Thailand trough Bangkok airport first time with the DTV visa. printed the dtv, and dtac. Handed it too the officer. She did not ask me anything. Also not about my student visa before 🙂

Is anyone knows if an e-visa application can be delayed in its process in the precise case that another application is still in process on the same account ?

1 application made and realize I made a mistake by submiting from thailand. This one is now in "request for additional documents" but I know it's gonna be denied. Sent a e-mail to explain my mistake but it is not possible to delete the application online.

No response from the consulate on this one and so I launch a new application fews days after (being oversea this time). I still have no return on the new application and I wonder if the first one might cause some issue for them?

I tried to call them but no answers...

Hi everyone,

I’m planning to apply for the DTV while I’m in Malaysia, at the Thai Embassy in Kuala Lumpur. I will include all the required documents in my application.

However, I can’t stay in Kuala Lumpur for more than 10 days, as I need to return to Bangkok to take care of my cat.

Do you think 10 days is enough for the visa to be processed?

Also, should I apply online through the thaievisa.go.th platform, or directly at the embassy in KL?
