Why do you need to process another visa? U can stay on your visa until u get another work permit so just wait for your husband's company to hurry up with the work permit. Unfortunately for foreigners working here some companies take their time

I do know maisai border open always but wasn't sure because of songkran festival. I'm on a none o multiple entry due 18 April so I always like to go late as possible

also, non B's are a nightmare to extend after the first 3 months, which is a 12 month extension of stay, the paperwork for that is crazy.
