I’m currently on DTV in Bangkok and looking for the best Thai language school to start studying. I’ve narrowed my search down to two options:

📌 ALA Language School

If anyone has personal feedback, experiences, or is currently attending classes at either of these schools, I’d really appreciate hearing your thoughts!

Also, if you have other Thai school recommendations that you’ve had a good experience with, please feel free to share those as well.

morning all, still on the question of wise for transferring money over , so if I input 800,000 baht it's giving my an exchange rate of 42.7 and have to send £19,758 pounds, and it's saying charges £120, so I've looked at the comparison list and they are more money to pay in to get less out, if that makes sense, I still think it's expensive, what do you guys think, any suggestions, thanks

Advice please !! I have entered thailand twice already this year on visa exemption I am coming again in dec for 6 weeks. I am reading that now I will have to get a tourist visa if I come again. Is this true?? Also I am a lodger here in the uk so don't have utility bills in my name so how do I get a tourist visa if needed ? Thanks for any advice 🙏 also I do have my driving license which has my marital address on it still so a copy of that would be ok I guess.

I’m currently living on the DTV in Chiang Mai, Thailand, and I’m wondering how scooter/motorbike accident insurance works here. I already have health insurance, but I’m not sure how things are handled in case of an accident — for example, if I’m involved in a crash or cause damage.

Of course, I hope it never happens 😅, but I’d like to understand how it’s usually arranged here. Do you get it through a local provider, rental company, or separately?

how to make sure not to get scammed by agent? i heard so many people paid first payment to agent, then agent runs away and owner kicks you out of house because he says he didnt got the money

Which bank/s in Thailand would you recommend? I’m also open to using overseas banks like UOB and also privilege banking.

Moving to Thailand next year, but I cannot decide on where to call home. My elderly father is coming with me, so we want to be near great hospitals. Cannot decide between Changmai (burning season worries me) and the burbs of BKK. Any input?

yet again I have another question, it's not visa related but about retirement in the great country of Thailand, it's really for all you older gentleman out there, I've been put on high blood pressure tablets and the important question/ advice is how easy is it to get your medication over there, anyone with the same issues please message and tell me how you got on, thanks everyone,
