Afternoon all. I'm on the none o multiple entry visa and my admitted date is 18 April. With it being songkran festival can I go up to 7 days after 18 April without the 500 baht daily charge? Cheers

TLDR : Answer Summary
The consensus is that you cannot extend your Non-O visa return date beyond April 18 without incurring an overstay fee, even during the Songkran festival. Therefore, it is advised to either return before the date or exit and re-enter the country at a nearby border to reset your visa status.

, there is NO grace period on a Non-O visa where you bounce every 90 days, you go before or on that date or you're on overstay.

If you're in Chiang Mai just bounce out and back in at the Mae-Sai - Tachiliek border with burma. It's the closest and the cheapest.

No, you'll be on overstay, the borders arent closed for Songkhran
