Update. I called the Thai consulate in savannaket myself and they said closed along with visas on arrival and you cannot get a Laos visa at any Laos consulate here in Thailand. I'm on a married visa OK til 9 April but then will have to start searching for alternatives

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is currently on a marriage visa (Non-O) that is valid until April 9 but has encountered issues obtaining a Laos visa due to closure of consulates, prompting the need for alternative solutions for their visa situation.

I have the same for the last 10 years and everytime when the15 month are finished I get my 60 days from our local immigration, Sisaket. That gives me nearly 17 months.

I have to do it on the 8th of April.

you can do the 60 day family visit as
@Fr***
mentioned, or if you can organize the 1 year Extension. To get a new visa would be a problem at the moment
