I had to go get a non b for work, company said I could not work on the non o for supporting a child.

I only got a 3 month non b

Can some one tell me from the photos if my 12 month non o multiple entry has been canceled?

If it not canceled can I keep both of the visas?

If it's not cancelled will they cancel it when it's extended to the 12 month non b

Thanks for your help in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on their visa situation after obtaining a 3-month non-B visa for work. They are unsure if their previous 12-month non-O multiple entry visa for supporting a child has been canceled and whether they can hold both visas simultaneously. Community comments offer various insights, indicating that as long as the non-O visa is still valid (and re-entry permit is intact), it may not be canceled. The advice revolves around checking the latest entry stamp and understanding specific immigration policies regarding employment on different visa types.

In theory, what you should have done was go to the immigration office and cancel your current extension of stay (the one that's good until 2019) and the re-entry permit BEFORE you left the country to get your new visa.

Just make sure you get stamped in for 90 days NOT until 2019 when you enter the country

Post a picture of the entry stamp you got when you entered thailand.

@Rob***
, ahh, hence that's why the visa isn't stamped used. :O

Not entered Thailand yet, see reply on my comment.

You have not posted a picture of your latest entry stamp, so it is impossible to be 100% sure if they used the 're-entry and Non-O or the new Non-B. I would guess the Non-O as the Non-B is not stamped "used".

OFF TOPIC:
@Ll***
, notice on the Non-B visa they list the name of the company: บริษัท มูฟ อะเฮด มีเดีย จำกัด (Move Ahead Media Ltd.)

This is to stop people from getting visas using one set of documentation and then switching employment during that 90 days and using another company to get the extension.

IF the company is mentioned on the visa you either use that one to get your subsequent extension OR you go get a new Non-B if you switch jobs during the 90 days.

More and more thai consulates are doing that now.

1. I think right now your old visa (taking care of Thai child) still active since you have a re-entry permit that will save the valid of this visa, unless you have cancelled this visa and re-entry permit before you travel out to apply for 3 months non-b

2. Actually with your non-o (taking care of Thai child) you can apply for a work permit.

If you're already back in Thailand it looks from the pictures Immigration used your re-entry permit to stamp you in. You can check the last Admitted to Stay stamp, if it is the same date as the Extension of Stay, you're still on this Extension. Normally if they stamped you in according your new Visa you will get 90 days Admitted to Stay and they will put a stamp Used or some pen drawings over the Single Entry Visa.

Write down the new VISA number on your arrival card and show the Immigration officer the new Visa, than he will use that.

I am not sure if depends from the company, in my case the local immigration dont accept NON O for work
Andrew ******
also, non B's are a nightmare to extend after the first 3 months, which is a 12 month extension of stay, the paperwork for that is crazy.

Hi Andrew it's a 12 month non o I already went through the hassle of extending it.

I was told that the Boi did not like non o based on a child I'm not married
Andrew ******
seems he's got 2 visas now when he just should have stayed on the non O with a work permit! Unfortunately most companies in Thailand don't know the correct rules! I have a non O based on marriage and you can work with a work permit, or supporting a child

Yes same here... Non O and no stress to have wp

Just a hint. Unless you want to make it easier for people to steal your identity, I’d black out details like your name, date of birth, passport number etc before posting pictures on the internet...

I didn't get this part that you couldn't work on Non O. Actually u could work on non O if u have work permit. I am on Non O (marriage base). I got workpermit and I can work. My friend
@Awais ******
is on Non O (Supporting child) and he has work permit and can work.

By looking at ur Non O stamp, it seems still valid till Feb 2019
