I don’t know what to tell you. You can apply for a Non O visa (marriage, over 50, Thai child, and various other reasons) at a Thai embassy via the evisa system.

It IS not only in Thailand that you can apply for a Non O visa. You can of course but you can also do so outside of Thailand.

Completely incorrect. You can apply for a Non O visa at a Thai embassy overseas (evisa).

She can apply for the Non O in Canada too. OA requires medical insurance, police cert and health check.

Classic Catch-22. Probably best to apply for the Non O in Singapore which will make opening the bank account way easier.

If not you’re probably going to need an agents help.

Should be able to get it straight away. Once they file it’s an instant notification. Depends on when they file it though. Some hotels file them all together using an excel file rather than individually.
