I am seeking clarification on the application process for the DTV visa. Specifically, I would like to inquire whether submitting my application in person at the consulate would be a more secure option compared to applying online.

My concern stems from the non-refundable visa application fee of 10,000 THB. I recently came across a video featuring an influencer who claimed that they were only required to pay the application fee after their application had been approved.

In contrast, I understand that online applications require payment of the visa application fee at the time of document submission. Could you please confirm whether my understanding of this process is accurate?

So after going on the immigration website and seeing nowhere that the first application had to be done in person, I took the chance and applied online.

Applied at 11.40 this morning. Received the receipt at 16.09. 🙌🏼🙏🏻

Is the online form for people entering Thailand on a visa exception in use or still on hold?

TM30 question:

I entered Thailand as a US citizen in November. I got the 60 days Visa-Free. I'm expecting to go physically to an immigration office in January and apply for the 30-days extension. I know about all the requirements (photos, passport stamp, TM7, TM30, etc). Concerning the TM30, Do I still need a physical copy (paper) from my hotel ? Because, I saw the website about the TM30 online application ([members only]) . Do I need to do the TM30 online application also? Does my hotel has to use the website for my request (I'm confuse). Hi team, I’m thinking of applying in Vietnam (HCMC) under the remote worker category. I don’t think I’ll be able to meet the deadline of in-person, so I’ll most likely apply online.

I have only just started this role recently, but have the full employment contract from an Australian based company that clearly states my work is remote. Is it common for the consulate to ask for payslips and if so, what duration of the payslips are required?

I meet every other requirement but worried about the potential proof of “x months” of payslips.

Also, any tips whatsoever would be greatly appreciated.

I made my first online application for the 90 days report and i got rejected but with an explanation included in the email, so it means the system is more clear than before:

For first-time requests of a 90-day notification in each country visit, in-person presentation at the immigration office is required.

Regarding deadlines, the right info seems to be this:

ONLINE< from 2 weeks before down until 1 week BEFORE the due date

IN PERSON <- from 2 weeks before down until 1 week AFTER the due date

What is the actual situation of the 90 days report online application? Do you recommend to do it?

I heard for months that it does not work and now that I have to do it for the first time I am afraid to try and if it doesn't work, make it more complicated to later do it again by visiting the inmigration office.

Looking at submitting an application while in Laos in January. Tried to make appointment for the but system says none available and mentions the e-visa will start 1 January. Will it be online only started January 1 in Laos. If I am there, I apply online to Vientiane?
