@Bob ********
You applied for a tourist visa via the London embassy. That’s completely different from what the OP is asking.
Stuart *********
It’s not a new e-visa. It’s an electronic travel authorisation. There is no official information about it yet. Wait for more information.

I’m not at all sure it would help if you asked to speak to a supervisor. A flight ticket out is not a requirement for a “normal” 30 day extension off a tourist visa or visa exempt entry.

You may find that going to Samui or Surat Thani to get the extension would be an easier process. Come to the Phuket office and you won’t be asked.
Stuart *********
To my knowledge there isn’t one. Each office probably has their own form. There is one you can get online if you search but as an example Phuket won’t use that and you need to fill out their own form.

Your office may be different.

Ok. That office is known to be a bit of a “rogue”. I’ve not heard of anyone needing a flight ticket out for a “normal” extension but each office may dictate their own rules.

Ok that’s sounds weird. What office were you using? You generally don’t need a flight ticket to get an extension.

You may if you’ve already had an extension and are applying again (which will be refused and you get a 7 day stamp).

Last report I heard was that they would only issue single re-entry permits. But that was from a while ago so I’m not 100% sure.

Yes. Open
