You need to talk to your own embassy in Thailand. For immigration side, there is an extension based on embassy request. For this, your embassy has to issue a letter to ask the immgration bureau to grant an extension to you. And if immigration office accept that letter, they will give you an extension.

Thank you for the report.

This is about the embassy in Germany. You must check detailed requirements at the exact embassy/consulate you are applying for your visa. Details could vary. Documents acceptable by the Thai embassy in country X may not be enough at the Thai consulate in your country.

, You are supposed to apply for your visa on eVisa system to the embassy/consulate in the country you are currently physically staying. At most embassy requires you to provide proof where you are.

Here are some facts.

- As a rule, all foreigners have to be registered TM30. So you are supposed to ask your landlord to register them regardless of extension applications

- At the Phuket office, they don't require you to have a TM30 receipt for 30 days tourism extension

- If your relatives are eligible for visa-exempt, not visa-waiver, they will be stamped for 60 days now. (Still possible to apply for a tourism extension)

- Another chance other than extensions you may need TM30 is in case you are involved with the police.

The decision is yours.

Only the latest TM.30 is valid.

Basically, the TM 30 receipt is evidence of reporting where you as a foreigner 'are staying', not 'stayed before'.

You ask your landlord to do TM30 and give you a receipt.

Reports here said you need TM30 receipt in Chiang Mai to apply for a 30-day tourism extension.

Dear members, please check detailed requirements for each purpose of DTV first at the Royal Thai Embassy or Royal Thai Consulate-General, the exact one where you are applying for your visa. Detailed requirements could vary by embassy, a document the embassy in your home country accepts may or may not work for the application in another country.

Good luck to OP. We'd like to hear your outcome.

The application form is TM.7 with 2 pages on 1 piece of paper.

There are some more forms you have to fill in. All those are available at the immigration office. Bangkok offices use forms with an extra field stamped, it might be better to get them there.

Attached is general information for a 30-day tourism extension.
