I'm sure this question has been asked many times, Sorry, How soon on arrival by Visa exemption 60 days can go to immigration to extend another 30 days. As l will be travelling around Thailand but the first 3 weeks staying in Chiang Mai. Thank you.
Great! After months of preparation for my application, I just got this funny stamp while exiting Thailand. I was supposed to leave on Oct 22, but am leaving today 23 because my exit day was not clear, as you all can see.
Now I have one more thing to worry about, even though this is technically not an overstay (?). That's what I was told by the immigration officer. They said this is just a 24h notice to leave the country.😮💨
Anyone had one of these on the passport and still was successful on your DTV application?
My wife and I own a couple of houses in suburban Bangkok for years now and in each yearly visit I have never filed a TM30. I have never been pulled up by immigration when entering or departing the country over a period of 10 years.
Next year I am planning to move to Thailand on a 90 day “O” visa and apply for a 12 month extension.
My wife, through her online Thai community contacts in Australia, is saying that I won’t need to provide a TM30 when I apply for this after I bought up the subject asking her to submit a TM30 on our next visit.
Can anyone provide some feedback on the pros and cons if we go to immigration without a TM30.
Hello! I’d like to apply for a DTV but I only have 1 Month bank statement showing over $16k (I received the funds in Sept and my flight is in Nov). Should I enter Thailand without a visa, border hop, apply while I’m out of the country?
Or should I get a tourist visa or someother arrangement, extend or try to convert to DTV after a couple of months?
Need a bit of help. I work 28/28 day rotation and need a bit of help with the new Non 0 EVISA.
Previously I was able to turn my non 0 into a multi entry easily now I have been told with the new EVISA you need to stay in thailand for 60day cooling period before you can change to multi entry.
Unfortunately I can not do that due to leaving for work after 28days in country.
Does anyone know a way to change the non 0 to multi entry after onky being 28days in thailand
I just graduated and have a student visa expiring on the 20th October, but I am required to cancel my student visa before leaving the country. My question is, if I cancel my visa at the immigration office on the 16th, does it mean I have to leave within 24 hours, or before midnight of the 16th?
Hey guys I’ve started the only application on the official Thai E-Visa for the DTV freelance visa. It’s asking for milk “INTENDED DATE OF ARRIVAL” and “MY INTENDED DATE OF DEPARTURE” issue with attended date of arrival is I’m applying from Spain n from the search ppl have had a 1 approval reply after their application and others it’s taken up to 5”6 weeks,
So I don’t know what to say re my date of arrival and Flight number ……
Secondly “INTENDED DATE OF DEPARTURE” the visa is 5 years do I say 5 years for my departure date? 🙏 what did you all do for this part?
Any feedback from just using the Thai e-visa website for applying for the DTV? I do not plan on going to Washington or LA to visit at Embassy.
If I skipped the DTV for now and just use the 60 day exemption with the intent of extending it the 30 days allowed, do people go ahead and book their plane tickets for the 90 days? Does that cause any problems anywhere? (Airline letting you on, Thai immigration, etc) Do people just buy 60 day tickets and then deal with changing the return flight once approved for the 30 day extension?
