I just bought my ticket for arrival in July. proximately 90 days. I was wondering if I could pay for the extension now online.
I am concerned that they may actually cut back the 60+30. And one would think anyone buying the ticket before the change would be safe but nothing is guaranteed.
I applied for the Thailand DTV (Digital Nomad Visa) from Bali (via Jakarta Embassy) on April 13. Right now I’m in Bali on an extended VOA (I'm good for 28 more days). My question is:
Do I need to stay in Indonesia while waiting for approval, or can I leave (I’m planning a trip to Japan)?
I won’t enter Thailand until the visa is approved, I'm just wondering if leaving Indonesia affects the application at all. I'm fine with coming back to Jakarta if in the rare case I'm called in for an interview. Also, if anyone here applied for the DTV through the Jakarta embassy recently, how long did your approval take? For context, I’m a US passport holder.
I want to visit for a month. What visa will I need? How many times can I enter the country this way? If I decide to retire in Thailand what do I need to do? I live about 1 1/2 hours from Washington DC. Would it be best to work through the Thai consulate.
Was told by a fellow DTV holder that as long as you leave the country after 6 months, the 6 months gets reset
the way i read it, was that it is 6 months out of a year we get on a DTV but he seemed to think it just renews as long as you leave the country even if you have already stayed 6 months
interested to see if this is the case, great result if so but not how I have read it
Got approval today for my Non O 90 day visa , yay. However it’s starts today and I’m not flying out till the 22/4. I put the departure date in the application so it seems they gave short changed me. Is that typical scenario and is there a way to get those days back.
