Asking for someone.

In case a foreigner on an extension of stay (based on working legally) had passed away in Thailand, what procedure has to be done regarding visa/extension matters?

Thank you for your help in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
When a foreigner on an extension of stay dies in Thailand, the immigration authorities must be informed to proceed with cancelling the visa and any extensions. Immigration operations continue normally even after the foreigner's death, and there are procedures in place to manage visa status.

Sorry
@Gr**
I removed the story. Immigration continues to work normally even after a foreigners dies and does not pay taxes after that.

I had a actual case. Glad you found the experience different for other employees when they applied. Maybe we are saying the same which I stated... Both the labor dept and immigration must be informed.

Immigration has to be informed and they will cancel all.
