As you can see on the login screen of the current TM30 web system ( and in the email sent to the registered address), the web system will be replaced on 15 Sep.

**You will need to register again at the new website on or after 15 September**

The TM30 web system in Thailand will be replaced on September 15. All users need to register again on the new website. Users have noted the new system might function better than the previous one, but there are uncertainties regarding re-submission of existing TM30 forms and the status of the old system and apps. Members have raised questions about impacts on hotel registrations and the necessity for those who have existing TM30 receipts to register again. It's advised to check with local immigration offices for clarity.

So what we know about the new Section.38/TM.30 online system (NOTIFICATION OF RESIDENCE FOR FOREIGNERS) so far:

- You can do registration smoothly (at least quicker than when the previous system was opened to individuals)

- You cannot search the data from the previous system on the new system

- There is no note about whether you need to re-submit your existing TM30 to a new system again

About the previous system:

- You cannot access the previous system with the old link anymore (goes to the new URL automatically)

- Old apps are still working okay (seemingly) - though they have been unsupported for a long time. use it at your own risk

- You can search and get the 'old' TM30 receipt (screen capture) with old apps

Conclusion:

- If you want to get a new TM30 receipt from the system, you may need to submit a new TM30 again on the new system

- We strongly NOT recommend submitting a new TM30 on the old system through apps

I know its in bold here but do I understand that even if your address is registered and you have tm30 receipt in your passport you need to register again?
