Just for information : just finished my visa DTV request .

This was in Belgium , Thai Brussels embassy .

Fee is 350 euro about 13.500 baht.

You have to show balance of 500k baht. Bangkok bank app balance request used as proof.

I used my doctor appointment for surgery (Thai soft power) .

PDF of confirmation mail from Bangkok Hospital used.

I will keep this post updated on how it goes.

Dear members, please check detailed requirements for each purpose of DTV first at the Royal Thai Embassy or Royal Thai Consulate-General, the exact one where you are applying for your visa. Detailed requirements could vary by embassy, a document the embassy in your home country accepts may or may not work for the application in another country.

Good luck to OP. We'd love to hear your outcome.

So you showed proof of funds from a Thai account? Did you show proof of employment or degree?

@Mohamed ******
yes Thai bank account , but could be any account .

For the Thai Soft Power side of the DTV , there are no extra demands for employment or degrees for as far as is known.

Have to wait and see if any demands come for extra information.

Will post here what happens.

Good luck!

Would be hilarious if this new visa will grant you a 5 year stay for only a doctor appointment.

Keep us updated!
