My friend has been living here with his Non-O (Thai spouse) for many years - kept doing extension and 90-day reports. He just found the last extension period's out - just last week. And his next 90-day report date is 28 Nov. What is his option right now? Can he do process in Thailand? He can get all proof / papers without any problem.
And how is his overstay status now?
Any advice and especially from who knows this same situation are appreciated.
Thank you for your help in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice for a friend who has overstayed his Non-O visa after the extension period expired. Despite the overstay, he can still apply for a new extension in Thailand, especially since he has the necessary documentation. Comments suggest that he should gather all required papers and visit Local Immigration to address the overstay issue, which incurs a daily fine of 500 THB. Obtaining a marriage extension if married is also recommended.

If the last day of his Extension of Stay is in the past, he is in overstay. Make all the copies for new Extension of Stay as soon as possible and visit Local Immigration, he will have to pay 500 Thb a day for the overstay. They will give him a new 1 year Extension of Stay.
