@Seng *****
, they don't issue Multiple Entry Non-O based on marriage to a Thai. Single entry only.

, no requirement for the funds of 400K baht to be transfer internationally. And 2 months period in a Thai Bank account is only for 1-year extension, not for the initial in-country Non-O visa base on marriage. At least based on the police order.

, right. You can apply for an initial Non-O visa just next day when you put your money into your Thai bank account as long as you meet all other requirement. Make sure you keep your funds for 2 calendar months as of the day you apply for 1-year extension.

You seem to understand something mixed.

In Bangkok, the funds don't have to be seasoned for the initial Non-O visa but have to be for 2 months in your bank account when you apply for 1-year extension after the initial visa.

You need 15 days with your current stamp to apply for an initial visa in Bangkok.

Calculate your timing again. It's your decision whether you want to take a family extension or a border run.

Savannakhet, HCMC, and Yangon are still issuing Multiple Entry Non-O based on marriage to a Thai. ALL require financial proof for multiple entries. Check detailed requirements with them.

Just an additional.

At some offices, a 1-year extension with changing reason starts on the day of application, not being added to the current one as when you apply for an extension for the same reason.

OP may want to check their local office to see what their policy on this.

You have to go to the immigration office to apply for 30 days tourism extension (if your ntionality is eligible for visa-exempt entry). As you entered before the starting date of 60 days visa-exempt, your entry is not eligible for 60 days.

@Brian **************
, as you entered on visa-exempt, you go to the IT Square Laksi Plaza office.

It is close to the Laksi station of MRT Pink Line or SRT Dark Red Line.

At least one application for each of you (or passport number). Requirements vary by embassy, you need to check with the one you are applying for your visa for detail.

You need to check the exact Thai embassy/consulate you are applying for your visa through/at. Some require you to have funds for certain period in specific currency, some only want to see the latest balance. No one-for-all requirements.

And Many embassies have their own exchange rate table.
