I am wondering if anyone has had recent experience with a civil partnership / same-sex marriage registration process in Thailand? If so, I really would appreciate some help with the paperwork process/ requirements. i am a UK citizen, and I know I will need a Marital Status Affiramation, however, when i go to apply on the ukgov site for this, it still says that civil partnerships are not recognised in Thailand, so i have hit a wall before i even start .... any advice/expereince?
Anyone applied for DTV visa from Cambodia? Not sure if I need to be in my Native Country to apply, or if I can apply from any embassy? I am resident in Cambodia.
Hi all, apologies if this has been asked before but in regards to DTV visa and the 500k baht bank balance.
I’ve seen conflicting answers to how long needs to show in your bank account. Varying between just current balance up to 6 months and also that it depends on which country you’re visiting the embassy in.
Hi everyone. I'm after a bit of advice. I want to obtain a O-A visa in the UK and come to Thailand. I understand that it lasts for 12 months and that I can leave the country and come back in and get another 12 months. What I want to know is, can I continue to do this every year or is there a limit. I do realise that I need 12 months insurance initially to get it. Many thanks.
Further document request regarding sources of income on 28th Feb.
Submitted Annual Tax Statement (Form 26AS), which records amount paid and tax deducted, of current and last financial years on 1st March. Stated in a cover letter that I'm unemployed and intend to fund my stay in Thailand using my savings and any income from investments. Included transaction statements of gold investments and crypto.
Received notification that my visa application has been cancelled on 3rd March.
I had 500k THB in my bank account for less than a month. I don't think I made any mistake while filling out the visa application on the website.
I’ve been told you need to have proof the required 500,000 baht has been in your bank account continuously for 28 days prior to your application. Has anyone had to provide this?
I applied on Feb 17th, then got asked to upload some additional documents on 21st, then today I get asked to go for an interview. It doesn't request me to take anything to the interview, but I am thinking to take my passport at least. For those who went for an interview, how did it go, what did you talk about and do you have any advice. This is for the Thai embassy in Tokyo. Thanks
