, unfortunately, you cannot book a queue for transferring stamps at CW. you just walk in to get the queue to the same counter your extension was issued.
Or, another possible option: talk with your child's hospital and doctor about whether your child can apply for a medical extension. Medical extensions allow caretakers (not for only one if I remember right, but not sure how many max). you can talk with them (and the local immigration office) if this extension can be applied to your whole family.
Right, you have to officially cancel your current extension based on studying. otherwise, you will not be able to apply for an extension based on employment once you enter on Non-B.
IF you are still on the first 90 days directly from Non-ED, you dont have to cancel that stamp as the entry/first stamp from a visa cannot be canceled.
, You who are on a visa/extension based on raising a Thai child are definitely allowed to hold a work permit.
BUT, the possibility that your new employer has difficulty applying for your work permit with your visa/extension may not be exactly zero. (not going into further details as about work permit is out of the scope of this group).
You should talk with a new employer about details well in advance.
You shouldn't have a problem applying for a tourism extension on your current Tourist Visa entry. Tourism extension applications for the current stamp wouldn't be rejected just because you had applied for one for a previous entry on a Tourist Visa or visa exemption.
, That IS the "7 days to leave Thailand" and it is NOT an extension any more. When you get that stamp, you cannot apply for any extension any more, you have no choice other than leavin Thailand. Elite (PE) visa has different procedures than other Non-Immigrant base visa/extension.
First of all, each extension application is a new one. You need to do whole things for each application. Whether you have a multiple or single entry visa doesn't affect your application for a tourism extension. And the Thai embassy in another country has nothing to do with the immigration business inside Thailand.
Q. do I need to fill out and submit the same papers as for a normal tourist visa extension?
-> You have to prepare all required documents at your local immigration office. no exception. Whether you have METV or SETV doesn't matter.
Q. do I need a letter from my landlord again?
-> If you mean TM30 receipt, yes, you need one.
This is general information for a tourism extension. You need to check your local immigration office for their own requirements.
If you are still on the first 90-day stamp from Non-ED, you cannot apply for an extension based on retirement. You have to leave Thailand. You can apply for an initial Non-O retirement visa at the Thai consulate in a neighbouring country or at the local office once you enter again as a tourist.
If you are already on an extension based on studying, you may be able to apply for an extension based on retirement by meeting the requirements. You need to talk with your local immigration office about whether you really can apply for an extension for a different reason from the one with your school for the current extension (by cancelling the current one).
