I have a Multi entry type non O visa.

I am due to fly out to Cambodia soon. My return date is the 11th of December.

I fly out again on March 11

This is 90 days, ( 91 if you count 11th of December as day 1)

My question is will I be required to complete a 90 day reporting ?

Thanks for any advice

Hi everyone,

After my father’s passing, my 56-year-old mother wants to move to Thailand to be closer to me. I’m currently living in Thailand on a DTV visa, but she doesn’t have the 800,000 baht required for the retirement visa. Our French embassy still issues income declarations, but they’re solely based on honor without any verification.

If she comes to Thailand without a visa, can we use the French embassy’s income declaration for her initial O visa application? By the end of the first year, she will have the 12 monthly payments of 65,000 baht required for renewal.

Thank you in advance for your advice!

EXCHANGING your drivers license for a Thai DL.

I had never heard of this. I have been studying on how to get a Thai DL, and stumbled across this on at the website shown.

It outlines how a person can simply exchange his home country DL for a Thai DL, thereby by-passing several things needed to get a Thai DL.........such as the written test and driving test.

Has anybody ever heard of this or used this particular process?

THANKS!

If you already hold a valid driving license from your home country, exchanging it is fairly straightforward. You’ll need to apply at a local DLT office

When it’s time for your appointment, be sure to bring the following documents:

* Your passport containing a valid visa, plus a photocopy of the photo page and current visa

* Certificate of residency or a Thai work permit

* Medical certificate awarded in the last month

* Original driver’s license, plus a photocopy

* Translation of your driving license into English or Thai or an IDP

* Two recent passport-sized photographs

You’ll have to undergo awareness testing in the form of color blindness, reflex, and depth perception exams. As long as you clear these tests, you’ll be awarded a temporary license that’s valid for two years. This can be upgraded to a five-year standard license upon the first renewal. In total, the application costs roughly ฿600.

Hi. I'm gonna extend my OA visa this week by first time. I got this form in immigration division 1. Is it required to have a guarantor to be able to extend? I don't understand very good what is this form for.

Can one apply for DTV online on thai e-visa, before returning to home country on a re-entry permit ?

I currently hold a business visa and would like to switch for DTV, but seems kind of risky to cancel my current visa before traveling to home country to apply for DTV

Good morning, everyone!

I recently got a job offer, but I am a bit confused about the process for obtaining a working visa. I’m currently in Thailand on a tourist visa. My employer has advised me to contact the Colombian embassy in Bangkok, which I have done. However, they informed me that they only handle visas for travel to Colombia, not for the type of working visa I need.

I’ve heard it may be possible to process a working visa from Thailand, but I’m not sure how that works. Does anyone know if I can complete the process here, or would I need to travel to another country to start the visa application? If I need to apply from another country, how long would the process take, and what would the costs be for staying abroad during that time?

Additionally, I’d like to understand what my employer is responsible for paying in terms of the visa process.

Thank you in advance for any advice or guidance!
