Have been approved for Non O retirement visa, traveling over end of May. My passport got damaged and I have had to order a new passport in Dublin Ireland. Do I have to advise London embassy who issued the visa non O or do I just show the two passport on entry. My new passport number will differ from the application.
I just renewed my passport and went to Chiang Mai Immigration to do a visa transfer. The immigration officer advised that I don’t need to do it—instead, I just need to leave the country when it is time, return, and present both passports on arrival. Immigration will then stamp my new passport.
I was also advised to email the DTV issuing authority in Hanoi to update my new passport number in my current(DTV).
Has anyone had a similar experience recently? I’ve heard different procedures in the past, so would really appreciate hearing how it worked for others—especially as on-the-ground policies seem to be evolving.
Hi everyone, I am currently staying in Thailand on a DTV. I just recently renewed my passport and got a new book here in Thailand.
My question is: Do I need to visit the Immigration office to transfer my DTV stamp from the old passport to the new one? If so, what documents are required for the transfer?
Hello ,my passport is expired and renew at our embassy in Thailand ,so do I need to transfer visa old to new passport and can I do at Samut Prakan immigration?
now this is just a an idea, a curious question that's been flouting around in my head for a bit, so I'm located in the rural countryside, nice and quiet and peaceful, most days just sitting on the front porch or pottering around fixing things, fishing and watching the wildlife, hold on I'm getting to the question, lol, but I've always loved the coastal areas so my question is, how hard is it to move province/ immigration office, the one here is excellent, very easy for everything, so my file is here do I ask for it and take it to the new one or do they send it or do you have to start over again with your TM30 etc, now this is just a thought it will probably not happen but you never know, lol
