Hey guys,

I have a question regarding my ME tourist visa extension.

How does it work, do I need to fill out and submit the same papers as for a normal tourist visa extension? And do I need a letter from my landlord again? I already send it to my embassy when I applied for the ME so I’m not sure if I need to show it to them again or if it’s enough if I just go there with the print of my ME Visa ?

Thank you so much for helping guys !

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for an extension of your ME tourist visa, it's necessary to submit all the same documents required for a standard tourist visa extension. This includes a TM30 receipt from your landlord, as each application is treated as a new one, and prior paperwork submitted to the embassy does not exempt you from these requirements.

First of all, each extension application is a new one. You need to do whole things for each application. Whether you have a multiple or single entry visa doesn't affect your application for a tourism extension. And the Thai embassy in another country has nothing to do with the immigration business inside Thailand.

Q. do I need to fill out and submit the same papers as for a normal tourist visa extension?

-> You have to prepare all required documents at your local immigration office. no exception. Whether you have METV or SETV doesn't matter.

Q. do I need a letter from my landlord again?

-> If you mean TM30 receipt, yes, you need one.

This is general information for a tourism extension. You need to check your local immigration office for their own requirements.
