Yes it’s so they know your not living here from money earned from work. I have done it for a couple of years now and they do check

It’s a document of residency but the office for driving licence is not open yet. I have a friend who has an appointment in March. Don’t get this until you get a date before a test. You will also need a medical certificate

I’m sure not as not everyone will carry a smart phone. I have many old friends who have said they will not do a smart phone. It has to be on a passport valid for 1 year I’m sure as you need a passport for travel

I know a few people who have had them in the Uk and they get a card. Easy to fake a card. Just get 500 printed and no quarantine.it needs to be in your passport I think
