TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation revolves around the anticipated opening of Thailand in the third quarter, with discussions highlighting the context of vaccinations and quarantine regulations. Comments suggest a focus on the reopening linked to the fiscal year schedule starting July 1st, 2021, addressing concerns about vaccination proof and safety before international travel resumes.
No vaccine is 100% effective and Thailand isn't willing to accept any risks. They won't allow anyone in without quarantine until the country they are coming from has been covid free for a while.
I know a few people who have had them in the Uk and they get a card. Easy to fake a card. Just get 500 printed and no quarantine.it needs to be in your passport I think
I’m sure not as not everyone will carry a smart phone. I have many old friends who have said they will not do a smart phone. It has to be on a passport valid for 1 year I’m sure as you need a passport for travel
that will be their option. Either get a smart phone, or don’t travel. No problem. And if in a passport - the info would be lost each time passport expires
It's all very well being vaccinated but at the present there is not much data regarding if you can still spread the virus. Maybe by September though we all be in a better place to know, and perhaps things can start getting back to normal 🙏
Michael Ganzermiller. No. Just a lot of hot wind from the tourism Minister. Won't happen for a while yet. I think they want to get min 60% of the country vaccinated first
