Hi all, thanks for all the wonderful advice here. I am trying to complete the requirements for non O-A 1 year visa. Multiple entry. I have downloaded the template Thai medical certificate with certain tests such as leprosy and elephantiasis. These tests are not common here in North America. The hospital says 30-40 days for results? I’m in Canada so the results are sent to CCDC. Any suggestions? Can’t go to US.

Any suggestions would appreciate?

If granted a non O-A visa , what documents are asked for by Thai immigration on arrival in Thailand ? Do you need to show all the documents you submitted to the embassy in order to obtain the visa or just the e-visa and insurance certificate ?

Where is the change to the health insurance requirement for Non O-A visa gazetted ? it was reduced from B3m to B450k a while back some foreign embassies are still asking for the 3m 🤔 is this just for first time requests or are they not up to date with recent changes - checked all the usual places very unclear…..

I have been issued a non O-A (retirement) visa from Canada - once the documentation was submitted it took only 1 working day to get approved!

My wife (also Canadian) and I will arrive into Krabi early November.

As this is my first time arriving with this type of visa, what will I need to present to the immigration officer at the airport - I want to be sure to have everything close at hand. I assume the printed O-A visa, valid passport, Health Insurance certificate?....anything else?

Also, my wife does not qualify for her own O-A visa, so she will apply for a non O in Thailand as a trailing spouse/depentant - is the marrage certificate all thats required for the non O for her?

Thank you for your help.

Hello All, have question on re-entry permit.

I came into Thailand by Non O-A retirement visa with multiple entry on Oct 2023.

Now have a trip coming up and will be flying outside of the Kingdom in couple weeks, one of my friend told me that regardless of the kind of visa (multiple or single) a re-entry permit is required.

This info contradict with the info i have, as far as i understand multiple entry visa does not require a re-entry permit, or the rules has been changed?

Thank you in advance for valuable info.
