Everything else catagory please.

Has anyone here had a remote from on of the stall selllers?

Not sure if they work ok and if they are much cheaper that the dealerships. I have a Nissan Terra and have a spare but sometimes that’s in the village and the car is in Pattaya.

TIA

TLDR : Answer Summary
The original post inquires about the reliability and cost-effectiveness of obtaining a remote key for a Nissan Terra from local vendors in Pattaya, as an alternative to dealerships. Multiple community members confirm their positive experiences with local key-making shops, stating that they successfully had spare keys and key fobs made for vehicles and other applications without issues. The discussion clarifies that the term 'remote' refers to vehicle key remotes rather than TV remotes, with recommendations emphasizing that quality and affordability can often be found outside of traditional dealerships.

You mean the key makers?

I did one for my motorbike and also key fobs for a condo with no issues at all. I have not tried for a car/truck
