TLDR : Answer Summary
An Australian visitor can easily extend his tourist visa by 2 weeks while in Thailand. The extension is granted at a cost of 1,900 baht. To apply for the extension, it is necessary to visit any immigration office with the following documents: his passport, a recent photograph, copies of the passport, and the TM30 form. Additionally, it is advised to have a copy of the TM6 form, especially if he is in Bangkok.
