Hi Mia there anybody on here who is on the committee of their respective condos and has looked into solar panels to reduce the cost of electricity within their blocks. I would like to know if they have fitted it and it works or if they have had surveys and the cost was just to much.

Thanks in advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking information from committee members of condos about the feasibility and outcomes of installing solar panels to cut electricity costs. They are particularly interested in experiences regarding installation and associated costs, as well as any surveys that may have been conducted. The comments highlight the voting regulations for foreign condo owners, emphasizing that foreigners cannot be voting members of condo organizations.

Under government regulations concerning condo sales to foreigners, no more than 49% of the condos in a development can be owned by foreigners, and also, and this related to your question, no foreigner can be a voting member on any condo organization governing the condos.

that’s a load of bull.

I’m on committee and we have 51 Thai condos and 49 fully owned and paid for by foreigners. I don’t ask about this answer
