Anonymous participant without true documentation of your providing digital nomad workcation services to clients outside of Thailand from inside Thailand, you will not qualify for the DTV visa.
What is it you are really wanting?
Sounds like you are not wanting to live in Thailand...as you live in Maryland.
There's other Thai Visas possibly better suited for your visits to Thailand.
Anonymous participant Pardon me but you got exactly what you deserved. As others who have played the Ed Visa game to stay and live in Thailand. IF you have been on OVERSTAY 90 days or more you will pay a fine of 20,000 Thai baht and a One year Ban from Thailand.
"If you report your overstay voluntarily to Thai immigration before leaving Thailand, you'll be met with these penalties: Less than 90 days: 500 baht per day (up to 20,000 baht). More than 90 days: Temporary ban from Thailand for up to 1 year and a 20,000 baht overstay fine."
Anonymous participant do you have experience working remotely for a company? With income tax return proof as self employed Digital Nomad? Read the posts from others about their applications for the remote worker with the DTV visa application.
IF you can show the Thai Embassy or Consulate that you have two accounts which combined are greater than the amount required... Show both of the accounts...be sure that the Schwab account is accessible and not invested in stocks etc...but is in their cash money market account immediately accessible.
A cover letter showing the two accounts with a simple statement for the Thai Embassy or Consulate to understand.
Bottom line.... ASK your airline... as you are seeking to enter Thailand as VISA EXEMPT entry. Thai immigration will likely grant you 60 days on arrival as Visa Exempt Entry.
