Is it a MUST (in order to have Visa approved) to include proof of an onward flight confirmation within the 180 days in the DTV application? Thanks.

Has anyone successfully evidenced savings for the DTV visa using a non-traditional bank account?

For example, an easy-access ISA, a Cash ISA, or a Stocks & Shares ISA where the funds are held as uninvested cash.

I’m planning to apply in Hanoi, so experiences specific to that embassy would be especially helpful.

Some advice states 3 months uk bank statements and a police clearance some are opposite.

Tiger Eye is currently top of my list, also because they offer yoga/meditation classes as a possible alternative (although not sure if that would be a valid option for DTV application - feel free to answer this too🙂).

Also, in your experience, are 1-mnth only memberships becoming less & less approved (need 3 mnths +)?

I'm applying at the London embassy and I've been seeing that when they ask for additional documents they seem to ask for an actual flight booking. Does it matter if this flight booking is different to the intended flight I entered at the start of my application?

Do you need to have 500,000 baht in your bank account for 3-6 months or just is it just the final balance that needs to be 500,000?

Has anyone been able to use a Schwab or brokerage account for proof of funds? Fidelity etc NoN retirement?

Do bank statements need to be stamped by bank. I have a friend who just did his without needing to go to his bank but he is based in Germany. He just downloaded pdf statements from his online banking then sent them to the Thai embassy and got approved.

I am thinking of applying from the UK and wanted to know if anyone did the same without bank statements being stamped.
