Yeah. You get the 90 day visa then as that comes to an end you head off to Kuala Lumpur for another 90 day non b visa. It's a minimum 2 day affair and you need an appointment.

If your job is seasonal ( eg dive instructor) and in somewhere like Phang Nga, then immigration won't approve a year long extension unless you're a manager.

you're kind of confusing things here. Sure you can use it within 90 days however you get stamped in for 60 days and you can extend it once for 30 days 😉
