Hi, I am a UK citizen, and my 60 day visa exempt stamp expires on 9th April. I would like to apply to extend the stamp by 30 days at the local immigration office. Is it too early to do that yet, or do I need to go on 9th Aril ?
Hello I am looking for advice. I am 19 yetas old from germany. I came to thailand on 14th november 2024, got the 60days stamp and the 30 day extension. Then on 9th february i took a flight to vietnam and stayed until 18th february. On 18th february i took a flight to bangkok and got another 60days stamp. After that i can extend for 30more days. My question is can i do the same process one more time, i mean go out the country and come back in for another 60days. Because i want to stay until july before my uni start in Germany. And if it is not possible to do another visa run, do i have any other options to stay for a few more month?
Just a reminder—if you frequently visit Thailand and stay for several months, like some of my wealthy friends, you might want to secure a tourist visa or DTV as soon as possible. That said, even that isn’t always a guarantee, so it’s wise to keep extra cash on hand for immigration officials. Otherwise, you could find yourself in a holding cell or on a flight back to wherever you came from. A French guy I came on my flight with was denied entry, put in the dirty detention room and had to pay $1500 for return flight @ Phuket.
Later this month am visiting Laos from Northern Thailand for 2 nights as advised so I can return to Thailandas my family visa expires. Can someone please tell me how many days you get 30 or 60 days - believe changed to 60 a few months back but want to check. Thank you
