Hi all. I have applied at the Royal Thai Embassy evisa website for a 90 day non O evisa based on marriage. I'm from the UK. Documents have been checked and it's now pending approval.
I would like to bring my flight forward to the 12th this month. I think I told them my flight would have been the 26th.
It's been pending approval for 13 days and normally I would not be concerned yet, but I may not get the visa approved by the 12th.
Can someone direct me to their Facebook page so I can get in touch and let them know of my plans.
Hello all, if i only want to stay in thailand for 6 months (i'm over 50), could i just ask for a non-o visa twice ? I don't want to open an account for the o-a visa.
I went through the search function of this group and found posts saying opposite things, so here I am with my situation:
My New passport is completely empty. I got it a few weeks ago.
The last entry on my old passport is a 60 days visa exempt entry, of which I've extended by 30 days, and then by 60 days (visiting Thai wife).
My 60 days will expired on October 5. The immigration office in which I did the 60 days extension is far from where I am, so I'm not going back there to transfer extension (I don't think i need to anyways?).
My plan was to leave via Nong Khai border by showing both passports. So they will void/stamp the old passport, and then on the Laos side I'll do the visa on arrival in new passport. *I will come back by air using safe entry*.
But then, searching the group, I found posts saying conflicting things. My understanding is that since my last entry is visa exempt, I can just do what I said above. But if I was on a longer term visa, I would have to leave by air so that they transfer from old to new passport (something they can't do at border).
I have been in Thailand since 13 th of July . First I got a stay of 60 days visa free exemption and I extended it for another month and on 10 of October I have to leave Thailand. Now I am planning to visit Hanoi for one week starting on October 4th flying from Bangkok. Will I get another 60 days when I come back to Thailand?
I am asking this because some people say it is not possible because the sum of your stays in Thailand cannot be more than 90 days within 6 months?
I would be happy if someone can give me some precise information from first hand who has experienced this.
First entry stamp for my DTV that i issued in Dubai for my Iraqi passport. Entry was quick. No questions. Just showed my DTV pdf on my phone and got stamped 😍.
If I file for an extension on a non-immigrant O visa, single entry, and it's not granted, what is my best option to stay in Thailand? Is there a way to leave and return quickly?
Hi! If I came from the USA to Thailand on 60 days and then extended on 30 days would I be able to fly to Cambodia or Malaysia for 2-3 days and come back for another 30?
