Arrived Kul yesterday and passed immigration using the auto gates. On way back now and realised I have no entry stamp. If I use auto gates on way out ( no stamp) will this cause an issue entering Thailand via hkt

TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual is concerned about re-entering Thailand without a physical entry stamp after using auto gates for both entry and exit. Responses indicate that the electronic immigration system records entries, meaning there should be no issue upon re-entry, even without the physical stamp. While experiences vary, the consensus is that electronic records should resolve any potential problems.

All done.

Nothing to worry about in the end.

Going out there is no auto gate, only going in, if i remember right.

Interesting. I entered KL last week by auto gate and got a stamp when i left. Will pay attention next time, don't want more unnecessary stamps

If you enter by auto gate you must exit by auto gate. No stamps. No problem returning to Thailand.

Maybe.

In front of me while doing a land border run from Pedang Bessar a Chinese guy had a little difficulty as the immigration officer could not find the entry stamp into Malaysia. He had left Malaysia seconds before and seeking the entry stamp into Thailand.

He entered Malaysia correctly and legally. The IO simply couldn't find the stamp. They later found it and he was permitted entry to Thailand.

Thats different. Auto gate is about exit. Not entry. You will still get a entry stamp.

Thank you kindly for the clarification. I was just making the OP aware of what may happen if an entry stamp could not be found.

The Chinese guy I was referring, for what it's worth to flew into KL and left by train.

Won't be a problem as he's flying. Land borders still have conventional stamps

He hasn’t got an entry stamp or exit stamp. How will Thai immigration know he has been in Malaysia. He doesn’t say how he’s entering Thailand, but if by air then they won’t know at all.
Graham ******
No, everything is logged

Only logged in Malaysia not in Thailand. But makes no difference to entering Thailand
