Hello everyone, I’m flying to Bangkok on the 15th and staying for a month . I’m not just going for vacation but to see if I would like to live there. If so, how long does it take to get a visa and can I stay there while I wait?

In view of on-going Bangkok Bank problems, I am thinking of opening another account elsewhere. Despite having lived at the same address for over a decade, nothing is in my name. So, how do I prove my address? Is a Thai driving licence sufficient? Seem to recall something about a yellow book. Is that an answer? Something from Immigration, despite them never having visited?

Hello everyone,

I just got a Non O Marriage visa and I’m entering phuket Thailand to activate it on Thursday 25th September to activate it.

Previously we filled out the TM30 online as if I was paying rent at my wife’s house with a lease document when I was on a tourist visa.

Could you please let me know how does my wife fill out the TM30 now?

Do we just need the marriage visa document?

Is there anything else?

Thanks so much in Advance 🙏

I’m currently applying for a DTV visa from Indonesia. I have two questions

The place I’m staying is direct from the owner so my plan was to just book a hostel for 2 weeks and use that as my place of “accommodation” as there is an obvious paper trail by way of receipt on booking.com, is this okay?

My second question is regarding the 500k THB. I have an instant access account with over the specified amount that I haven’t touched in a year. Nothing goes into this account and only really interest gets withdrawn, is this okay as proof of funds? To give context I am applying for workcation, should I have transferred these funds into the same account my company pays me into or can I

a.

Just upload the instant access account with the funds

B. Upload both accounts of me getting paid by the company into one account and the 500k+ in the other account

C. Transfer the funds into the account I pay myself in and apply in a few months?

Thanks

Landlord question:

I rented my condo out with 1 year tenancy lease. My tenants agreed to rent my condo from 16/6/2025 to 30/6/2026. I did do TM30 through online and put

Check in date : 16/6/2025

Check out date (optional): 30/6/2026

Tenant not leave Bangkok or Thailand yet and she said she wants me to do TM30 for her again for “90dayreport”

Do I have to do TM30 again? For my view, I did do first-TM 30 with checkout date provided already which is 30/6/2026

Thank you for.

Hello everyone, I’m retiring to Thailand and applying for my O-A visa stateside. Doing will allow me 1 year, this first year I would like to move from place to place staying a month here and there for about 7 months to try out each area I’d like to settle in. So the question I have when it’s time for my first 90 day check in, do I do this in person or on line, what do I need to provide and avoid any problems. I figure by the 3 month I should be at 3rd location or on the 4th. Thanks Edward

I am getting ready to retire to Thailand early next year to live with my long term Thai partner in Phetchabun. We will be living in a house currently owned by her brother and will buy this house in her name as soon as I sell my house in the UK. I will be in Bangkok on holiday shortly and am looking for recommendations for someone there that my partner and I can go and talk to get advice on various issues. They must be able to talk Thai and English for us both to understand what we need to do.
